Résumé

Flutterglow is a newly Growed-Up fairy, with a brand-new dress, her own house, and an Essential Job. Along with her friends, Cloverflower and Bud Mushroom, she is sent on a Very Important Mission for the Queen herself, in spite of being the Youngest Fairy in all of Twinkle Dingle. Tasked with finding Three Impossible Items, the friends quickly find themselves entangled in a variety of Unusual and Extraordinary Circumstances, requiring them to Master Important Skills, and Confabulate with Creatures who are Vile, Terrifying, Enigmatic, or Incredibly Ginormous.
And yet, in spite of everything, they somehow manage to Not Get Smooshed. Will they succeed on their Mission? Or will they--as the Queen expects--Simply Mess Up Everything? As a bonus feature, also included in this book is a series of blog entries Jumped by none other than Bud Mushroom himself. Follow along with Bud as he expands the story started by Flutterglow, and explains What Happened Next. A Fairy Excellent Adventure is a stand-alone prequel to Don't Piss Off The Fairies, which is the first in the Tales of Twinkle Dingle.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de C.C. Naughton

C. C. Naughton is the author of two fantasy series, The Tales of Twinkle Dingle (humorous fantasy) and the Beneath the Birch Tree saga (fairy tale re-tellings). Her work is greatly inspired by her first literary loves of fairy tales, folklore, and mythology, and her long-time interest in Settlement-era Iceland. When she is not writing or reading, she spends her time herding cats with her life-partner, sewing weird plushies, and trying to figure out how her magic wand works.
