Francisco Tarrega

Tárrega, the revered, teacher, performer, composer and icon, is still extremely popular. With his deep understanding of the guitar and sense of purpose he modernised guitar repertoire and technique, just as Paganini had done for the violin. Volume 1 of this new and very different 11-volume critical edition is a new bi-lingual compilation of didactic material which he used and gave his pupils to study.
