The Door Left Open
It began with a Facebook page for a beloved uncle, a priest who had given his whole life to Christ and His Church in the hills of Lebanon. Within a year, the algorithm had led one of the brothers somewhere no one expected: into hours of online lectures, and out of the Catholic Church. Then others followed. The door of one home quietly closed. The Door Left Open is one brother's answer: not an attack, but a letter.
With charity for persons and firmness only toward claims, it tests what those lectures teach against the standard Adventism itself names, Scripture, and the documented history its own lectures appeal to. The prophet is measured by the Bible's own tests for prophets. The doctrines, the sabbath, the investigative judgment, the state of the dead, are weighed against the Word. The famous quotations are traced to their sources, which are cited on the page where they appear, so the reader can check every claim.
And the church that Adventism calls Babylon is allowed, at last, to answer in her own words, and in the words of Christians who lived a century before Constantine. The verdict is left where it belongs: with the reader. The invitation never changes. The door was never locked."To the law and to the testimony" - Isaiah 8:20
