1978. The Bronx. Disco, punk, and rap fill the clubs and make music dangerous. The blackout, the city bankruptcy, the heat and bus exhaust are enough to choke the summer out of you. But for five teenagers at the Bronx Zoo, it is the summer of a lifetime. They find a closeness, and for some, love. But one night their lives change. One of them goes down and doesn't get back up. Twenty years later, the pieces are all there, but people have forgotten, moved on, or simply found dead ends.
