A sweet romance story full of action.  Female firefighter, Blake Davis is in the final stages of being promoted to captain.  A last-minute problem arises with a temporary crew member as she prepares for deployment to a wildfire event.  He creates hassles for her for months afterwards.  During the deployment, she meets a Stranger in the Smoke, and things develop.  Written to a mild, fade to black, closed-door heat level, with no AI assistance.
