Trevannock
In 1782, the ships of the Adunbi Imperium come for the villages of Cornwall. Elias Hollowell, a fisherman of Trevannock, is taken across the Black Water in chains - stripped of his name, entered on a manifest as a slave, and delivered to a world that does not notice he has arrived. But on the lower deck, the enslaved keep something the empire cannot take: the names of the dead, held in memory and passed hand to hand.
This is the testimony of those who crossed, and of the bond between them - second only to blood. History remembers what could have been.
