Syros, the binary is a book that should be read at the end of a vacation. It is not a guidebook; it resembles more the notes you might find in your notebook at the end of a stay. It is not a text to be consulted; it should be read to rediscover the ideas gathered while wandering up and down the island, and during the evenings when you sat just breathing in the sea.  Probably-surely, in fact-you would write something different from the texts I have gathered, but we would nevertheless share the desire to take possession of these places to make them into something different from a tourist destination identical to a hundred others.
