Conning a conman is a tricky business, especially when you're not the only player in a game you can't afford to lose. Victoria, Natalie and Ashley, three strangers from wildly different backgrounds, are lured into a web of intrigue by the mysterious Horatio Hanes. He entices them into his clutches with bribery, sneaky tricks and lucrative incentives to join his specialized detective agency. Being possessed of a reasonable amount of common sense, they decide to decline Horatio's shady offer. But then eerie truths and long-buried memories start to surface. This is not the first time they have met, and Horatio is somehow the tie that binds them together.  Before the sticky web of Horatio can completely ensnare them, they join forces in a con of their own to beat the conman at his own game.
