Neo-Afrocentrism

Neo-Afrocentrism, in reality, seeks to merge Afrocentrism and Black nationalism. Its essence lies in the protection of Black African people and the advancement of independence, fundamental principles it borrows from Black nationalism. However, it is not exactly the same as traditional Afrocentrism. The difference lies in the fact that neo-Afrocentrism is based on rigorous academic research and sources when addressing Black African history and civilizations.
It is no longer about conjecture or spreading pseudohistory, but about grounding claims in solid, factual evidence. This manifesto can serve as a source, but it should not be the only source. It is necessary to consult the accompanying references. This is important because neo-Afrocentrism does not claim to be the sole authoritative voice. Many Black scholars have already done this work (written books, conducted studies), and you are expected to draw on their work as well so that your perspective is not biased.
This manifesto, in fact, lays the groundwork. It offers a unique perspective on race, history, and society, and challenges what most people accept without question. Therefore, yes, some readers may feel uncomfortable or offended. But let it be clear: the author does not promote harm or disrespect toward anyone, any group, or any race, and does not support any form of hate speech or violence. Reader discretion is advised.
