Warsaw, November 1989. The communist system is dying, but the shadows of the past are longer than ever. Robert "Rico" Niedzielski, a weary detective, and Klara Wysocka, a fearless young reporter, find themselves caught in a deadly conspiracy involving a massive fuel mafia known as "The Eagle." As they race through the rain-slicked streets of a changing Poland, they must decide what costs more: the truth, or their survival.
