The Awakening of Nimue is an epic mythological narrative told through poetic verse. Across ten acts, the poem journeys through the great legends of human imagination. Beginning with ancient mythologies and divine beings, the narrative travels through the worlds of Greek and Egyptian lore, European folklore, and timeless fairy tales. Heroes, monsters, gods, and spirits appear and fade as the centuries unfold.
The poem then enters the age of chivalry, where the Knights of the Round Table and the mysteries of the Lady of the Lake shape the fate of kingdoms. From there, the story continues into the intrigue and adventure of the musketeers of France. Through all these eras, a hidden thread runs beneath the legends. At the end of the journey, the ancient magic returns. From the still waters of the lake rises Nimue-the Lady of the Lake-awakened once more as the myths of the past converge into a new legend.
