They've left everything behind apart from a bag of clothes and twelve hundred sunflower seedlings. What had he been thinking? Sunflowers aren't the solution to his problems. The one bright thing in the whole situation is Jacob, the human who agreed to feed him when he first arrived.
Too bad Jacob is trying to run away from him. Jacob can't believe how naive he's been. He's always had a thing for vampires, but now his view of them has been shaken. The way Drystan does what he can to take care of him is cute, but he should tell him to stop. Right?
