Cynthia Toman

First produced by Theatre New Brunswick, Fredericton, in October 2022. The characters are based on three real women, but their stories in this play are imagined. However, at some times their words have been taken from first-hand accounts of other women serving in the Great War. The original short version of Bluebirds was included in the 2017 publication of Vern's play Vimy.
