Joelle Peters

The premiere production of Niizh was nominated for four Dora Mavor Moore Awards. Joelle wanted to write this play because we don't see Indigenous love often enough and deserve a rom-com! She also wanted to write about the highs and lows of a rural upbringing and to celebrate the complexities of Indigenous families.
