In an attempt to rid the court systems of damaging docket overload, people were given the lawful option to dictate their last will and testament after their physical body dies. No misinterpretations. Not eligible for contestment. Nothing to question. Except, Ronnie Renchland did not understand why his family-focused late Uncle Merrell bequeath everything he owned to a person nobody in the family ever knew existed.
Ronnie questioned.was it possible that Uncle Merrell's spirit was somehow being influenced---coerced---from within the hereafter?...where the new law could not reach? Those who interacted with the hereafter on a regular basis didn't know how to answer Ronnie's concerns. One practitioner even volunteered to investigate possible demon involvement, but that yielded even more confusion. Ronnie, of course, recognized he was delving into areas of existence he knew nothing about, but it still caught him off guard that he started experiencing unusual and unexpected things.
