The Makmaktu
Summer and Edwin live in a small cottage on the outskirts of town, near the Elven forest. When their supplies run low, they reluctantly set out on a hunting trip, knowing that during winter the makmaktu roams the forest in search of food. The couple are separated when Edwin is injured, and to escape the troubling thoughts of losing her husband, Summer flees to their friend Alfred's cottage, where she finds comfort in his arms.
