For Shonda, fairytale endings were only for children's books and never for her. Her life starts to take a turn for the better as she finds solace at New Life Worship Temple. Shonda becomes one of the most dedicated members of the church. Everything was going well until David Johnson joined the church. As they work together on several different projects, sparks begin to fly between them. Shonda fights tooth and nail to keep from failing for him; however, she is failing.
