The Sonder Effect
After a long voyage to a planet rumored to have greater biodiversity than Earth, the crew of the starship Moremi Ajasoro encounters the first non-human intelligence - the alien manthrakawr. Initially, both species are thrilled to find beings like themselves. However, as representative parties from both species interract, it seems there may be a secret the manthrakawr are hiding, and that the exchange of information and technology may be slanted to benefit humanity's new companion in the galaxy.
