In this epic fantasy, Celus of Mountborn, apprentice to Sir Gollfred Woolrich, a deep wizard of the first order. When Sir Gollfred and his cohort of other powerful wizards are all slain before they can execute their plan to save Gramecia from the dread wizard Phlorr, who has discovered one of the ancient, primal, words of power, Celus is forced to take up the quest. He is joined by a young priestess of Londrus, a Dwarf ironmonger, and the Guard Captain of the nearby town.
Each carry secrets which could help win the day, or lead to failure.
