In the land of towering cliffs and deep green forests, by the silver waters of a winding fjord, lay the Viking village of Nordheim. And in that village lived a boy named Kristian. Kristian had bright blue eyes like the summer sky and hair as golden as straw in the harvest sun. He was ten winters old, brave and clever, and full of questions about the world beyond the sea.
