This volume brings together cutting-edge scholarship addressing persistent inequities in healthcare education, access, and outcomes across underrepresented and minority populations. Articles explore gender and racial disparities in health sciences programs, career aspirations among Latinx and Black students, and teaching strategies to mitigate implicit bias in minority healthcare training. Broader global and structural perspectives are highlighted through studies on demographic shifts in East Asia, healthcare barriers in Nepal's urban squatter communities, recovery challenges for Black mothers navigating drug use rehabilitation, and the mental health experiences of intersex individuals.
