In book five of this seven-book series, LAPD Detective Lt Jeff Chandler is called out to a robbery where the victim was shot dead. He and his husband, robbery detective Mickey Stanton, work together to solve the murder of half of a mystery writing team. As Jeff interviews friends and family of the victim, he finds a very good motive for the killing.
