Jo agrees to follow the Path of Submission, under the charismatic Ravi, but the humiliation and pain she's forced to suffer grows progressively more severe, testing her to the limit. Jo becomes involved with Chris, another therapist, who tells her Ravi is a charlatan.
She tries to escape the guru's clutches, but he is jealous of her feelings for Chris and won't let her go. Only when Ravi starts playing black magic tricks on her does she fully realise the danger she is in...
