This is the story of a young man with little ambition, whose interest never really extended much beyond pizza, music and Kelly. Edward Miller was your typical underachieving high school student with a strong C average, who, after a series of unfortunate events one night, finds himself in a strange new world. A world of elves and goblins, invisible cities and talking trees, where the only remaining god seeks to destroy him and allies are found in the most unlikely of places.
Guided by a mysterious woman, who eerily resembled someone he greatly admires, but who may have hidden motives of her own, Edward finds himself in one disaster after another. Determined to avoid bringing the prophesied death and destruction to this world, he must find a way back home.
