Betty Singer

Drawing on his experiences as a rural Missouri goat farmer, the author has produced a short collection of essays that will bring a smile of recognition to those who love the people, the land, and the culture of the Ozarks. Describing activities as pastoral as a stroll across a newly mowed hay field and as ordinary as a pet dog's close encounter with a skunk, he evokes the rhythms of a nearly forgotten life style.
