Jo lost their sibling, Alex, to a strange portal. Searching relentlessly for a way to go after them, an officer reveals he has also witnessed a portal - the first person to validate their own experience in 15 years. With his help, they find out that these portals haven't just taken a couple of children. The lost children are not the only ones on the other side of the portal, and they'll have to first protect themselves if they want to save everyone.
