This body of work explores the system of payola and the impact it has on the music and broadcast industry in Jamaica, specifically the dancehall space, radio and tv. Theories such as capitalism and the hierarchy culture, ideas such as public and private payola emerge from this work and the idea of reconstructing the music industry's structure.
