A New Vision speaks of a way of life based on the understanding and application of Spiritual Principles. For most of our lives we have lived as a mortal in time and space, a selfhood apart from God. This has been our conditioning, that state of ignorance that has superimposed itself upon us, the dream of material sense and mortal existence that in Truth has no reality. We have paid homage to illusion and knew no better, hence "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." It is not until we decide to leave behind the life of sense, even while still in the flesh, that we fully embrace the Life of Spirit, not until we leave ourselves behind, that we truly move forward.
We don't have to leave the world in orthodox, monastic terms, join a Holy Order and live a life of asceticism and renunciation, nor need we wait for the morrow to begin to live the spiritual life; we can begin right Here and Now. And that is what this book intends for us to do. In reading a book such as this, seamlessly intertwined as it is with Scripture and contemporary revelation, the process and purpose of Awakening, if process there be, is that, during the course of our immersion in its content, realization dawns and purpose is fulfilled, for its words, "which are not just words, they are Truth and Life, " are the out-picturing of that Consciousness of those fields of divine perception that are forever white with harvest, inviting us to leave all as we look again and see the New Heaven and the New Earth with eyes of witness and knowing that see only the Truth of Being.
It is a silent invitation to awaken and a time capsule of Truth, a message in a bottle cast on the sea of life and the ocean of time for both current and future generations.
