David Holmberg

   Daniel is a young military veteran looking for his place in the world.  He is contacted by a mysterious figure known as the Preacher, who offers him a security contract.  As a young boy, Daniel read comic books and daydreamed of fighting evil.  Now his time has come.  He will emerge from lifelong obscurity and face unknown forces in his task of tracking down and apprehending a legendary fugitive.
 He must learn to trust his new partner as he navigates the murky world of criminals on the run and the forces behind them.     Daniel is a martial artist and a simple-hearted Christian believer.  He is the Lion.     The year is 1987 and the place is rural Maine.
