Where Were You God When We Needed You? Unlocking the Purpose and Power of Prayer
Sometimes, life can feel really hard. Things happen that leave us sad, scared, or confused, and we can't help but ask, "God, where were You when we needed You?"We usually ask that kind of question when we're hurting, especially when it feels like no one's around to help. When we're upset, it can feel like there's a storm inside us. Emotions like sadness, anger, and fear start to swirl, and they can feel way too big to handle.
We might cry, feel alone, or even get frustrated with God because it seems like He isn't answering. In those moments, we start looking for answers. We pray. We ask for help, hoping God will fix everything right away. But when nothing changes, at least not right away, it's easy to feel discouraged. We start thinking, "Maybe God doesn't care about me, " or, "What's the point of hoping?"Even though it's tough, these moments are part of something bigger.
That's when we start learning to trust, even if we don't know what's coming next.
