A retired treasure hunter, Jack Heyes, is drawn back into the life of treasure hunting he left behind as he partners up with an academic, Dr. Clara Rodriguez, and his old friend, Cole Raymond. Together, they start an expedition to find a lost pirate treasure of an infamous captain called Edward Blake on the coasts of the Caribbean. They soon realize they are not the only ones looking for the treasure.
Immediately, they are met with a fierce competition that would stop at nothing. The treasure hunt turns into a deadly race through the wilds, with no way out but to find the treasure first. As they get close to their goal, the whole expedition changes from a mere hunt for pirate gold into one of the greatest discoveries in human history: a lost civilization.
