"Elkrod's Forest" is a medieval fantasy fiction story about oppressed people seeking refuge in a forest under the guidance of an elder woodsman named Elkrod. They are pursued by the king, Rory, a tyrannical crown prince who succeeded his late father, and his guard. As tensions rise, Elkrod helps the inhabitants defend themselves, drawing on the nature of the forest itself, leading to an epic final battle for freedom against tyranny.
