All Things Bass Fishing

Fishing rule #1: The least experienced fisherman always catches the biggest fish! Fishing, for me, is an art form and although I like to use all the little gadgets and things that have literally proliferated the fishing industry over the past few years, I still prefer to catch my fish the old fashioned way most of the time. Of course, this could have something to do with the fact that I have had my day and caught myself a few big ones, but I prefer to believe that finally after all of these years of fishing, I have gone back to the art of fishing the way my Granddad taught me. Whatever the truth may be, and however you view it, there is no denying that you are reading this book because you're interested in fishing, and more particularly, bass fishing. Being the avid, or wannabe, fisherman that you are, it is probably safe to assume on my part that you are, or you very shortly will be, loaded down with all the latest in gadgets known to mankind which can conceivably be of help to you in fishing! There's really no use in denying such allegations - I should know all about it since I myself have a garage, basement and cupboard full of fishing gear which I have bought through the ages, and with which I am loath to part company.
That being said, you might be wondering whether or not you want to proceed through this book. Well, to begin with let me state that I am no fancy writer, I am first and foremost a fisherman at heart and will remain so I suspect till the rest of my dying days. This means that when I talk fish, I can generally be counted on to know what I'm talking about. Then, is this book meant for pros or for amateurs? Pondering that question I have to say that I have aimed this book primarily at novices to the world of fishing, because as I recently found out, not all books dedicated to the subject of fishing are directed at the beginning fisherman. However, even if you're a pro at the bass fishing game, you might find a few things in here that even you were unaware of about your favorite pastime, and which might help you, or you might just find that it can help you to get back to the basics of fishing. To that end I have included in this book a variety of bits and pieces of information about the subject of bass fishing.
These, I intend to be a sort of a guide to everything bass fishing.
