Motteux

Motteux est né en 1993 en Normandie. Il se passionne pour le dessin dès l'enfance et fait ses classes dans une école de BD. Influencé par des médiums variés (BD, manga, animation, jeu vidéo), il aime notamment les décors naturels qu'il ne se lasse pas de mettre en images. Il travaille pour plusieurs hebdomadaires et mensuels jeunesse ('J'aime lire', 'Image doc', etc. ) ainsi que pour du visual developpement dans l'animation et la publicité pour Mikros Image. Accompagné par Léo Schilling au scénario, "Hana et Taru, la folie de la forêt" est sa première bande dessinée dans le label Combo (Dargaud, 2024).

Deep in an ancient forest, young Taru feels like a misfit among her tribe of hunter-warriors. As she tries to make her mark in the adult world, she finds herself marginalized-as much for her naïveté as for her radical ideas, which are dismissed as nonsensical. Meeting Hana, a young human with a mysterious past who has been taken prisoner by Taru's own tribe, provides her with both solace and an opportunity to find her own way.
When Taru's village is once again attacked by giant beasts, the unlikely pair will work together to try to understand the uncontrollable and deadly force that threatens them.
