In the year 1271 following decades of envy, greed, and treachery, Lord Robert Montgommeri sacked Blackthorn Keep, claiming the castle and its lands as his own. Lord Henri de Beaumont, his daughters, his knights and household were all slain. Only his widow, Lady Eleanor was kept alive to produce a Montgommeri heir. Her prophesy to her new husband was 'You may own this castle but it will never be yours'.
The memories, carried by the blood of the slain, waited - stone has a long memory.700 years later the last living Montgommeri decided the Keep would make an excellent luxury hotel. The memories began to waken and surveyors and workmen left, refusing to enter the site after dark. Until Montgommeri, himself, arrived. As he entered the ruin the stones detected the blood of the usurper and the castle began to stir.
The time had come for revenge.
