Adrift on a sea of troubles, in a world of magic! Coming of age is never easy, but for Thonir, a sixteen-year-old apprentice wizard, it's positively perilous. Following the calamitous death of his master, our unlucky hero embarks on a series of wild misadventures, as he struggles to climb out of the gutter and resume his magical education-braving pirates, robbers, and angry peasants along the way, not to mention the occasional sea monster.
