It turns out that Kate works for a special Foundation that does scientific research and they were in need of a subject as part of their study program. Sylvie would be joining the research team as part of her therapy requirements. Her eyes were big and glassy when Amanda explained that the nature of the program was related to sexual responses under various methods of research and psychology.
Kate and Sylvie would depart first thing in the morning on a rather long journey. Kate explained to Sylvie that the project is of a secret nature and she would have to blindfold her and cuff her during the journey as she is still under research supervision.
