Hip-hop is a resistance culture, and I would go even further to say that hip-hop is a resistance culture that cannot be defined with a single definition, nor confined to a single space because of its complexities, its multi-consciousness, and its continual growth. Hip-hop not only affects culture, but is affected by it.
