In Maori, Kerikeri means digging or keep on digging which sounded like an appropriate theme as a starting point for a story in a book about my personal experiences in various parts of the world.' The book contains 14 first-class pen and ink illustrations to aid in conveying the feel of various chapters such as Sydney and Beyond; A Wake-Up Call at Williams Lake and All Men Die which sounds sombre but is in fact an inspiring story of a visit to the Alamo.
