Clyde Hedges

- Evergreen is the story of the love of a high school English Lit teacher for Craig Sizemore, one of her students. Though a forbidden love, it nonetheless is an unselfish love where both Craig and Ellen want what is best for the other. It is, as Socrates said, "The unselfish willing of good of one person for another." In the end, they are forced to part, but their love endures for the rest of their lives.
