Axel James was the love of my life.  When we met in college, I was instantly drawn to him-the bad boy musician with big dreams and a passionate talent so undeniable, I always knew he'd make it. I just never thought the day he signed to a major record label and became a star would be the end of us. Now he's back and working overtime to repair the damage left in his wake. I can resist-I think-I just need to keep my distance. It's a solid plan. Or so I thought.  Circumstances force us into a close proximity, and the more time we spend together, the more I feel my steely resolve crumble away. I want to forgive him. I want us to go back to the way we were before he left.
But I'm not so sure I can trust him again. Because if he leaves a second time, I don't think my heart will survive the aftermath.
