Dinosaurs' Day Off Volume 2 includes twenty-one traditional ink drawings featuring original characters. These characters include cartoon dinosaurs in the form of a Tyrannosaurus rex, a pterodactyl, a dimetrodon and a brontosaurus. These creatures are engaged in various activities such as baking a cake, deep sea diving and playing golf. Each illustration is accompanied by a whimsical caption based on word play such as puns and alliteration.
Children, especially those between the ages of seven and eleven years, may find the illustrations and word play amusing.
