Phoenix Rising Security is a place where former members of the military who came home changed in some way, whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally can find a place to work, a place to fit in and find family and a home.  The first book Out of the Embers is an introduction to the company, the men who created it and the supports they put in place.  A little office romance between the staff they hire adds some lighthearted moments and some heat to the overall beginnings of Phoenix Rising.
