After losing her magical abilities, Edi struggles to find her way back to life as an ordinary teenager. However, she soon discovers that ending her witchhood isn't so easy-she still sees and hears things unavailable to ordinary people.  Initially disoriented, she learns that a magical gift can't be simply lost. Even if it's temporarily unusable, it can reappear at any moment. Therefore, she resumes her interrupted training, this time under the tutelage of her distant cousin, Emilia Gocsara.   This is all the more important as a new threat looms on the horizon.
