Welcome to Dismal Notch! It's fifty miles east of Boring, and forty miles west of Tenebrous, on the banks of the Somber River. Located squarely in the center of the Mournful Mountains. Delilah Dismal is a witch, as well as a direct descendent of General Abner Dismal, the man who founded Dismal Notch. and the town's most enduring resident. Abner, Delilah's many-times-removed grandpappy, died over a hundred years ago, but since this is his town, he refuses to leave. Dismal Notch is a quiet town in a beautiful setting, but when the sheriff is murdered, mayhem and rumors abound.
It's up to Delilah and her friends to discover what really happened. and to catch the culprit!
