The Letter is the third prequel linked to the McLaren Mystery series. Unlike The Swim and Storms, The Letter focuses on Brady Grady, the man who wandered into the village of Moorton where he eventually met McLaren.  Barry has been through a lot: losing out on love and his chosen career are just a few things. He's been thwarted or beaten down or associated with the wrong people, but he's emerged triumphant through it all.
If he could tell you, he would most likely say his former life doesn't interest him anymore. He now has all he ever really wanted. He's happy. Isn't that a grand goal for us all?
