This story may well be part of a bigger story that can be spoken of by considering, Patriarchy commonly described as "a system of social structures and practices, in which men govern, oppress and exploit women". Patriarchal violence is then any kind of violence that creates or maintains men's power and dominance, or avenges the loss of their power. Especially in a world where sports stars get away with so much, the story can be viewed in a new light in this different take on the story of life of so many different people.
