The scientific monograph points out the key concepts and principles of teaching interculturality in French as a foreign language classes. It presents a range of activities, preferences for communicative and intercultural activities in textbooks as well as a case study of implementing interculturality in the education process. The last chapter which deals with the role of the teacher and his metacultural competence as a crucial need for further teaching points out several facts such as the ability of a teacher to build himself interculturality and then the ability to teach it in the class.
The book presents parallels between the student, the teacher and the content. Triangulation method was applied during the research. Quantitative methods such as content analysis and qualitative methods such as case study, téacher's discourse analysis and analysis of indirect observation.
