In the modern era, an assassin named An Fei unexpectedly dies. His soul is summoned to another world by an evil sorcerer, taking residence in a young boy's body. This young boy, originally an experiment of the sorcerer, gains a chance to escape his grim fate due to An Fei's soul inhabiting him. After successfully assassinating the sorcerer who summoned him, he cleverly steps on the corpse of his foe, climbing onto a branch of fortune. --- Traveling today was much easier than yesterday.
Yesterday, they had to stop every time there was a disturbance in the wind blowing through the grass, identify the situation before moving on. They were all capable of sensing the fluctuation of magic power around them. Unfortunately, although there were fewer magical beasts in the Transverse Valley than in the Forest of Death, there were still some. They relied solely on the information from magic power fluctuations to determine whether the being was human or beast, which wasted a lot of their time.
