Sentinel of the Heart is a true story about a young German Shepherd who was born in a veterinary hospital and sent for military training only to be turned over to a rescue facility before his training could be completed. His was so BIG and was trained in German and Check which made him almost unadoptable. He is returned to the rescue several times over the year until he finds a person who needs him as much as he needs her.
The bond between Bentley and his new owner allows them to train together so that he becomes the companion and service dog she needs to get through some tough times.
